Manchester United Football Club currently have three casualties at the moment. In fact, the trio all missed out on pre-season tour, but it looks as though things are coming together nicely for Jose Mourinho. Last night, both Luke Shaw and Ashley Young played for the U23 side.
Now, today, Manchester United tweeted some training photos, including the return of Marcos Rojo. The Argentina international has been out of action since April after suffering ligament damage in a Europa League game against RSC Anderlecht, and it is wonderful to see him back in the mix.

Of course, it’s going to be a long time before he takes to the field again, but just to see him back out on the training pitch with his teammates must be a huge boost for him.
He would have missed not playing whilst on tour, and it probably hurt watching his teammates take to the field in the couple of Premier League matches that we’ve played so far.
However, this is just the start of a long road back. He, like Shaw and Young, will likely play for the U23s for at least a few matches before making his long-awaited return.
