Manchester United take on Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup in Skopje, Macedonia tomorrow night. Ahead of that game, the injured duo of Ashley Young and Luke Shaw have been spotted in training by Press Association journalist Simon Peach. He took to Twitter to upload a photo of Ashley Young training with his teammates.
First of all, it’s worth noting that neither of the pair will play tomorrow night, as per Jose Mourinho himself, but them being back involved with the rest of the squad tells us that their return isn’t too far away which is great news.

It is also added by Rob Dawson of ESPN that Marcos Rojo is watching on, who himself has an injury. But, as previously mentioned, the duo of Shaw & Young don’t look too far away which just gives the squad that added depth.
Luke Shaw’s Old Trafford career has been a bit of a slow-burner. The Englishman seems to constantly pick up injuries which has massively hampered his development, but at 21, he’s still young enough to make a real positive impression.
As for Ashley Young, we all know what he offers. The former Villa man is versatile, and Mourinho seems to love the fact that he can play in multiple positions. He can fill in where needed, and it just gives the Red Devils a player that they can always rely upon.
