Manchester United Football Club picked up a hugely important victory at home to Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, with the Red Devils putting in a supremely commanding performance to walk away with the victory. On the whole, it felt like a Jose Mourinho tactical masterclass.
On paper, the team really didn’t look all that strong. Mourinho took the decision to let Zlatan Ibrahimovic rest on the bench, with Marcus Rashford starting as the main striker. The Englishman led the line brilliantly and it was great to see the manager’s tactics paying off.
After the final whistle, you can understand the gaffer being supremely happy with how things went, and he showed just how much he is loving life at Manchester United with a simple little point towards the crest on his chest.

Honestly, I love stuff like this. That siege mentality is building nicely, and that tends to be one of the symbols of any Jose Mourinho team.
Waking up the day after a result like that is always so sweet, and it was three points that we deserved massively. With the master tactician at the helm, it certainly feels like the start of something special.
