It has been absolutely brilliant to have a fully fit and firing Luke Shaw back in the team.
The young left-back started his time at Old Trafford career with promise aplenty, but injuries hampered him and considerably set him back.
Now though, he’s on the right track once again, and I’m hard-pressed to name a better outfield performer from a Manchester United perspective to start this season.
After the 3-1 loss to West Ham, Shaw showed his class even in defeat. The ex-Southampton man went straight over to the travelling United fans, as he handed his shirt to a young supporter as you can see below.

Shaw just gets it. He could have sulked and ran straight down the tunnel. Instead, he stared defeat in the face and went over; at least giving a young fan something to cheer about.
It always irks me when players head straight down the tunnel after a tough day at the office. Players often forget the money spent, the long journeys and the time off work that is often needed for these away trips. This little touch was only a small gesture for Shaw, but I can promise you, it means the world to the Old Trafford faithful.
