Picture: Man United given huge boost as midfield star back in training after injury

Well, Manchester United really struggled against West Bromwich Albion yesterday, with Jose Mourinho’s men unable to find the back of the net. There was an alarming lack of creativity from the Red Devils’ attackers, and that must be a real concern for the manager.

However, that could all be about to change soon, as Paul Hirst pictured Paul Pogba in a Manchester United training session for the first time following his injury.

The Frenchman’s ability to create chances out of nothing would have been a really useful tool against Pulis’ organised WBA side, but thankfully, it doesn’t look as though he is too far away from a return if he’s back training with his teammates.

There has been plenty of occasions this season where Paul Pogba has come in for criticism from the fans, and to be fair, a lot of it has been justified in my opinion.

However, you cannot fault his willingness to try something different that could well unlock the opposing defence’s door. As we’ve mentioned, his footballing brain could have meant three points instead of one yesterday, and the sooner we have him back as an option, the better.
