Manchester United are currently on a two-week hiatus. The international break is now in full flow.
This probably couldn’t have come at a worse time for Jose Mourinho, with the Red Devils finally getting back to winning ways last time out; at home to Newcastle United.
Several superstars have jetted off to all corners of the country to represent their respective nations. One of whom, Marcus Rashford, seemed to be having fun in England training as they prepare to take on Croatia in a World Cup semi-final rematch.

For Rashford, the international fixture couldn’t have been more timely. Unlike most, it actually works in his favour. He’s been struggling for United recently. Against Newcastle, he was poor once again.
For Gareth Southgate, Rashford has been exceptional. Whether that’s because he plays primarily through the middle I’m not too sure, or whether it’s because he feels more freedom, who knows. Hopefully, we’ll get to see him start against the aforementioned Croatia or Spain, and he can find the back of the net and really kick-start his season.
United are going to need him to get back to his best. It’s why you have a squad, and at the very least, it’d hopefully end all these rumours and pundits suggesting that he should move away from Old Trafford as it’d be in his best interests…
