Picture: Man Utd key man named in Team of the Week for Swansea performance

Manchester United kicked off 2016 with an extremely important victory over Swansea. Louis van Gaal’s side won 2-1, largely thanks to an outstanding display from Anthony Martial. The 20-year old Frenchman once again took the game by the scruff of the neck, and almost single-handedly got the three points.

His efforts have been rewarded with a spot in WhoScored’s Team of the Week with an impressive 8.06 rating, thanks to his one goal and assist in the game.

He seems to be going from strength-to-strength at United, and everyone involved with the club surely didn’t expect him to do this well from the get-go. From that stunning solo goal against Liverpool, to the outstanding all-round performances in the Champions League, he has been a real success story.

Martial has been named in the side alongside Laurent Koscielny, Oscar, Diego Costa and Player of the Week, Mark Noble.
