PICTURE: Man Utd legend Scholes in dig at Liverpool

Manchester United’s summer spending is set to top the £100million barrier once again, with Louis van Gaal looking to bolster his options as the club hopes to be a part of the Champions League once again after a long season without it.

One of our top four rivals, Liverpool, are struggling to keep hold of Raheem Sterling as he wants to win trophies, and a Manchester United legend has made a mockery of our North-West rivals.

Paul Scholes has had a dig by staying that Sterling should stay at Liverpool rather than joining a ‘big club’, and he should develop before he goes anywhere.

This is sure to please our Merseyside rivals… But it has certainly given us a good laugh.
