Manchester United Football Club made it into an FA Cup semi-final over the weekend, where they’ll meet Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium next month.
Before that, though, let’s talk about the 2-0 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday. For their incredible individual performances, two Red Devils earned their place in WhoScored’s FA Cup Team of the Week.
Included were Sergio Romero, who scored an 8.05 rating, and Nemanja Matic, who scored a colossal 9.82. Check out the full team below:

Sergio Romero has been our backup goalkeeper for the last few seasons, and on the whole, he’s done a brilliant job. Saturday was no different. The Argentina international made some truly fantastic saves at pivotal moments in the match, saves that if David de Gea were making, we wouldn’t hear the end of it. I’d go as far as saying that this lad is probably the best backup goalkeeper in the country. He could also likely start for around half of the teams in the Premier League.
Then we have my Man of the Match from the 2-0 victory over Brighton; Nemanja Matic. What a player. Seriously, I’ll never understand why Chelsea let him come to Old Trafford, he’s just wonderful. His reading of the game is at an elite level, and most of the time, he’s known for defensive-midfield masterclasses. This time, though, he affected the game offensively. The ball he played into Romelu Lukaku for the opener was stunning, and he wrapped the tie up with an exquisite header. A deserved place in the TOTW.
