Picture: Manchester United duo named in WhoScored Team of the Week after Burnley win

Manchester United Football Club are on a roll. The Red Devils made it three wins in their last three Premier League outings away at Turf Moor, as Jose Mourinho’s men put in a professional performance as they cast their injury woes to one side.

Today, WhoScored released their Premier League Team of the Week for the weekend of the 22nd April, and it included two Manchester United stars who more than deserve the credit.

First up, we have Mourinho’s first United signing; Eric Bailly. The Ivorian earned an 8.1 rating thanks to yet another mature performance. He was absolutely everywhere as he displayed tough-tackling, an excellent turn of pace and his supreme physicality. It has been an absolute joy to watch him play so well in his debut season, and we’re lucky to call him ours.

The second United player included is a bit more obvious. Anthony Martial got his big chance to lead the line, due to Zlatan Ibrahimovic being out injured. My, did he grab the opportunity with both hands. The 21-year-old got himself a goal in the first half, as he played a huge role in a stunning counter-attack. Not only did the French forward finish the move, but he started it with a run from deep inside his own half. Hopefully, this is just the start of an excellent patch of form for the youngster, and he puts in some excellent displays from now until the end of the season; he’s definitely capable.

The United pair are joined in the team by the likes of Christian Benteke, Marc Pugh and Ryan Fraser.
