We’re approaching the end of the current international break (thankfully), and Premier League football comes back with a bang. Jose Mourinho’s men head to Liverpool to take on the old enemy at Anfield.
Ahead of the clash, it seems as though our players will be enjoying some downtime following playing for their respective countries. One man who seems to be enjoying himself is Marcus Rashford.
The young lad from Wythenshawe stopped for a picture with none other than Anthony Joshua; the heavyweight champion of the world.
I always like it when sports stars at the top of their game mix. There is always a healthy respect between different sports, and I don’t think you could find a bigger contrast than football and boxing.
Joshua at 27 is still relatively new to the world level at boxing, but I’m sure Rashford will be able to learn a lot from the Englishman who won an Olympic gold medal for team GB back in 2012.
Now, it’s time for Rashford to focus on the huge clash on Saturday lunch-time. He has the ability to be a real difference-maker in such an integral fixture. I reckon he’s ready.
