Manchester United made a strong start to the Premier League season, winning their opening three fixtures so far. The Red Devils have been on fire, winning all three points and looking pretty convincing in the process.
Now, French media outlet L’Equipe have drawn up their best Premier League XI selected out of current players; and it contains two Manchester United players.
Of course, by far the best goalkeeper in the league in David de Gea has got himself in the mix. The Spaniard has been sensational ever since his arrival at the Theatre of Dreams and more than deserves his place within the starting line-up.
The shotstopper has been by far and away the best #1 in the Premier League over the last few years and the competition for the goalkeeper in this team was pretty easy.
His teammate and leader of our defence Eric Bailly has also been involved and I’m delighted that the Ivorian is finally getting some well deserved recognition. When we signed him from Villareal I was skeptical but he has been simply outstanding. He wears his heart on his sleeve and puts his body on the line for the cause; a proper old-fashioned centre-back.
