Picture: Paul Pogba all-smiles after winning Player of the Month award

Manchester United’s December started predictably slowly, with the Red Devils falling further adrift under Jose Mourinho. However, following the managerial change, things have massively improved.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has his boys playing for the badge, playing for him, and perhaps the biggest beneficiary has been Paul Pogba.

The superstar Frenchman has played outstandingly over the last few weeks, and for his performances, Pogba earned himself the United Player of the Month award for December.

As you can see from the photo below, Pogba looked delighted to win the major personal honour, but now he’ll be looking to kick on and continue to help his team in their quest for a top four finish.

After missing the Reading game at the weekend with an injury, Pogba is now back in training and no doubt he’ll be relishing the opportunity to head to Wembley to play a Tottenham Hotspur side who walloped us 3-0 earlier on in the season.

This is his and United’s chance to right those wrongs, and if Solskjaer can guide us to what would be his most impressive victory so far, then talk about him getting the job on a permanent basis will really begin to materialise.
