Manchester United will be looking for a swift return to winning ways away at Harry Redknapp’s QPR side this weekend. Louis van Gaal got it all wrong tactically last time out, and hopefully the Iron Tulip won’t let his stubbornness get in the way of things and he’ll be willing to change things up.
A return to the 4-4-2 diamond could well be on the cards, allowing United to revert to a far more familiar four at the back. Luke Shaw will continue at left-back, with a solid pairing of Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo starting at centre-halves.
Angel di Maria should stay in the starting line-up and play alongside Michael Carrick in midfield. Wayne Rooney should return to a more familiar position of the #10 role, with our two star strikers carrying on up top.
