Manchester United play their second game in three days on Tuesday evening, and with Louis van Gaal’s injury problems not easing up just yet, we’ve decided to have an early look at the potential line-up. Angel di Maria will definitely not be involved, whereas Wayne Rooney is a doubt, but should be passed fit.
Ander Herrera had an outstanding game against Hull City, so he simply has to start this one. The back four should remain unchanged although largely untested, and both Michael Carrick and Juan Mata more than warrant their starts.
The position thats up for debate is that of Robin van Persie. Although he scored, he’s not getting any younger and two games in such a short space of time might be too much for him – hence why I reckon one of Radamel Falcao and James Wilson will start.
