PICTURE: Robin van Persie celebrates late leveller for Manchester United

Manchester United were more than worthy of their last minute leveller against Chelsea last night, as Robin van Persie rifled the ball home after Marouane Fellaini forced a save out of Courtois in injury time and the ball bounced back to the flying Dutchman. Old Trafford went mental, and United fans finally had something to cheer about.

Throughout the first half, Louis van Gaal’s men were the better team. Chelsea came out of the blocks at the start of the second 45, and Didier Drogba scored a superb header to give Mourinho’s men the lead. However United didn’t give up, and bundled the ball over the line. You could see just how much it meant to the fans, the manager and the players in their celebrations –
