Picture: Sanchez looks hilariously scared for his life as Man United celebrate goal against Chelsea

Alexis Sanchez has made a bright start to life at Manchester United, although it’s clear his best is yet to come as he continues to adjust and adapt to a new footballing style.

The Chile international started against Chelsea on Sunday, and had a hand in the Red Devils’ pivotal first goal, eventually scored by Romelu Lukaku.

Throughout the game, Sanchez drifted inside and out, trying to force the issue and drag his team back into the match. I guess a criticism of his is that he’s likely trying too hard, but his grit and desire never faltered.

When Manchester United eventually scored the all-important winner, the team went absolutely mental, leaving Sanchez petrified for his life as you can see below.

All jokes aside, it was great to see United pick up the all-important three points that moves us back into second place in the Premier League table. Things are getting rather tight up there, and if we can replicate that result against Liverpool in a few weeks time, we’ll be sitting in pole position to earn our place in the Champions League next season.
