Manchester United could have been given the biggest hint yet that Pedro Rodriguez is on the move this summer, after scoring the winner in Barcelona’s 5-4 thriller of a victory against Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup last night.
The 29-year old came on as a late substitute before netting in extra time, and as you can see from the photo below he didn’t even join in with the celebrations at the trophy presentation.
Perhaps he feels like that was his last game for the club he has spent all of his professional career at, and he was clearly disappointed to have been left out of the starting line-up despite Neymar being injured.
There is no doubting that he’d be a real asset to Manchester United and he’d be the perfect replacement for David de Gea. Its now up to Edward Woodward to get this deal done as soon as possible.
