Zlatan Ibrahimovic has arrived at Manchester United’s Carrington training ground today, as he continues his rehabilitation from an ongoing knee problem, per the Manchester Evening News.
The influential Swede has been out of action since April, after suffering the issue in a Europa League game against RSC Anderlecht. Now 36, the veteran striker seems to be nearing his return for the Red Devils, and it’s fair to say I’m excited.

To see him back at Carrington tells me that he’s starting to step up his recovery. When he went down with the aforementioned injury, I genuinely thought we’d never see him play for the Red Devils again, but I’m so delighted that he chose to stay at Old Trafford for at least another season.
He became our talisman last term, scoring over twenty-five goals on our way to an EFL Cup and Europa League double. It felt fitting that he signed a new deal, because his work here isn’t complete. This is a man who has won the league trophy at every professional club he has played for – clearly, he wants to do that again with Manchester United, and it’d take a brave soul to bet against Ibrahimovic getting what he wants.
