Manchester United are struggling on the pitch recently, and latest quarterly results suggested that financially, the Old Trafford side were also on the decline.
Recently, rumours have been rife suggesting that a Saudi Arabian prince could potentially be looking at buying the club, and yesterday, those reports went into overdrive as pictures emerged online of Avram Glazer was spotted with Saudi officials in Riyadh.
The United co-owner was at the third annual MISK global forum where he was guest-speaking, but it’s certainly interesting to see that he took the time to speak with the Saudi official…

Chances are, this meeting was harmless, but you just never know in this day and age… Would I like the Glazers to sell up? probably. Would I want United in the hands of Saudis? I’m not so sure.
One thing is for certain. They’d likely pump some serious money into the club to compete with the world’s best, but there are several issues, most of them politically-driven.
For now, though, it looks as though the Glazers won’t be going anywhere, but I guess we’ll just have to sit tight and see what materialises.
