Manchester United Football Club now know when they’ll return to action – with a Premier League restart slated for June 17th.
Yes, we’re now just a few weeks away from seeing our boys back in action. Unfortunately, the fixtures will be played behind closed doors but I’d rather have football without fans than no football at all.
Now our boys know a firm date, it’s time to step it up a notch in training and start working towards full fitness. In a way, the break has helped as United will now be able to call upon the abilities of both Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba – who were injured beforehand and looking like missing a large chunk of the season.
Well, both are back in training, with Pogba in amongst the United stars who were snapped out on the AON Training Complex pitches yesterday. Anthony Martial, Tahith Chong, Scott McTominay and even the gaffer were getting in amongst it ahead of the big return:
The excitement is now building. It seems as though both the Premier League and FA Cup will now be played out to their natural conclusions (barring any hiccups, of course). The Reds have a great shot at cup success while we’re now breathing down Chelsea’s neck in the race for Champions League football.
Let the games begin!
