I think it’s fair to say that things haven’t quite gone to plan for Manchester United thus far this summer, but as they say, the show must go on.
Next up for Jose Mourinho is a game against AC Milan. Make no mistake about it, this fixture will be tricky, but it’s one the Red Devils have to put on a show in. One goal in our opening two tour matches isn’t anywhere near good enough, this is an excellent opportunity to prove it’s nothing more than a blip.
Before the clash against the Serie A giants, the self-proclaimed Special One has been putting his players through their paces in training, as you can see from the images below:

Amongst the faces spotted was Alexis Sanchez, who finally was able to join the tour following visa issues. There was also a shot of a rather trim looking Luke Shaw, who’s seemingly doing all he can to stake his claim for a regular starting berth.
Perhaps the biggest surprise of the tour so far is the emergence of Tahith Chong. The young Dutchman is clearly an immensely talented player, and we’ve looked a far better outfit with him on the pitch. If he continues his development, don’t be surprised to see him involved with the first-team on a regular basis in the not too distant future.
