Manchester United’s hectic Christmas schedule has drawn to a close, with Jose Mourinho’s men playing a game every few days over the last three weeks or so. Now, though, it’s back to the usual one or two games a week which is great news for all involved, particularly the players.
It means they’ll be allowed to fully recover before playing another game in quick succession. The Red Devils’ next fixture doesn’t actually take place until next Monday night, giving the Reds a ten-day break which is hugely beneficial. It also gives the lads who are injured an extra chance at recovering before the manager-less Potters make their way to Old Trafford.
Ahead of that, though, Mourinho has taken the decision to jet his players off to Dubai for some warm weather training. This will be excellent for team bonding, as well as allowing the squad to recoup, regenerate and prepare for fighting it out on three fronts upon their return.

Pictured amongst the group were the likes of Juan Mata, David de Gea, Marcus Rashford, Marouane Fellaini and, of course, manager Mourinho. Hopefully, everyone comes back to Manchester feeling refreshed and ready to go.
