Manchester United made a few bold moves in the transfer market so far, and it all began with Eric Bailly coming in through the Old Trafford entrance. After the European Championships, Henrikh Mkhitaryan followed – and what a brilliant piece of business that will be.
Today the pair were spotted in Manchester United first-team training for the first time, with Jose Mourinho putting the players through their paces ahead of the game against Wigan this coming Saturday.
It feels as though Manchester United haven’t gone away at all, despite having no actual football to watch. In just over four weeks, the club will kick things off for real away at Bournemouth.
These two new signings will certainly be hoping to impress before then though, to cement their places in the starting line-up on a regular basis. Hopefully they hit the ground running, and can make a huge impression amongst the fans.
