Manchester United’s home kit is already on the shelves, with Red Devils fans eagerly waiting to see it in an actual game scenario. Tomorrow’s outing against Perth Glory could present that chance.
Today, the official away kit hit the shelves, and this time around, Adidas have gone very bold indeed.
In terms of colour, United have gone with a snakeskin number, complete with the usual Chevrolet sponsor on the front, with the Kohler branding on the left arm.
Both the Adidas logo and Manchester United badge are solid black and with the traditional Adidas three stripes, it certainly looks pretty good…
The goalkeeper kit is also extremely daring (although they usually tend to be more extravagant than the outfield jerseys anyway).
Personally, I’m not a fan. I’ve always been an admirer of the plainer kits that Adidas make as sometimes, simplicity is the best option. The perfect example is this season’s home kit which I absolutely adore.
This one’s a little too ‘out there’ for me, and although it’ll probably sit well with the younger generation of supporter, it’s not something I’ll personally be rushing out to purchase.
Check out the Adidas website for more photos of both the men’s and women’s team donning the new jersey.
