Over the last couple of months, there hasn’t really been much for us Manchester United fans, or football supporters in general for that matter, to cheer about.
Well, the recent return of first-team training has given us some enjoyment, with regular faces heading back to the AON Training Complex ahead of the Premier League’s resumption at some point in the (hopefully) not too distant future.
Training, all socially distanced of course, is the first step in these players returning to full fitness ahead of an all-important run-in for our Red Devils.
Well yesterday, another familiar face returned to first-team training for the first time in months – Marcus Rashford.
Cheers to the official @ManUtd Twitter account, for sharing the snaps of Rashford back out there for the first time since January due to a back injury – and it was great to see.
It had been a long few months without our star attacker, though credit where it’s due, Odion Ighalo has filled in exceptionally.
Don’t forget that all the talk is about Bruno Fernandes finding a bond with Paul Pogba, but imagine if he clicks with Rashford too? These are three supremely gifted individuals who could get into any squad in world football.
Hopefully, training is going well and he’s not feeling any pain or discomfort whatsoever – meaning we have a fully fit Rashford for the season’s remainder.
