For us Manchester United fans, the excitement is now starting to build. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has chosen his squad for pre-season tour – and there’s a really great mix of youth and experience on their way to Australia.
For me, all the anticipation was surrounding our new signings; Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka. I wanted to see whether both would travel following international exploits this summer, and I was absolutely buzzing when both were included.
It must have been a very proud moment for both their families as they pulled on those suave Paul Smith custom-made United club suits, and as you can see from the photos below, both look very good in Manchester United colours.
Check out the snaps of the new lads here:
Now it’s about building up those all-important fitness levels ahead of their debut seasons. It’s easy to forget that both of these guys are just 21 and still learning the tricks of the trade.
The tour is absolutely crucial for their developments as players for more than one reason. Not only is there an opportunity to bond with their new teammates, they’ll also get to pull on the famous red jersey for the first time, as they look to build on those on-field repertoires with the fellas they’ll be playing alongside for the foreseeable future.
I know these are only friendly games but I cannot tell you how excited I am to see these guys in action!
