Manchester United Football Club have always been known to produce youth and give them an opportunity. That mantra doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon.
The Red Devils have announced that today, both Zak Dearnley and Callum Whelan have penned new deals at Old Trafford; keeping them in Manchester for the foreseeable future.
Both these young lads were out-of-contract this summer, and their previous deals had expired on July 1st. However, the pair have now both agreed to stay on and continue their development at the Aon Training Complex.
As you can see from the photos below, they look absolutely delighted to be staying at the biggest club in the country. Now, the hard work really starts.

With pre-season tour just around the corner, this is the perfect opportunity for both Dearnley and Whelan to force their way into proceedings. Jose Mourinho’s pre-season squad is likely to be even younger than usual, too, with six United players still involved in the World Cup.
No doubt the senior lads will be getting a longer period of rest and recuperation, so they’ll be ample opportunity up-and-coming starlets, particularly in the earlier tour matches.
