Manchester United have their first signing of the summer – and it’s an important one. Victor Lindelof has joined the Old Trafford club from SL Benfica. The 22-year-old, known as the ‘Iceman’ is Jose Mourinho’s first summer signing, and I for one am excited to see him play.
Shortly after announcing the deal, images were released on social media via United’s official account and elsewhere, giving us our first glimpse of our new player in red colours.
Have a look at the photos here:

At this point in the year, it’s always nice when a new player unveiling happens. It’s obviously much more boring when we have no football on our TV screens come 3 o’clock on a Saturday afternoon, but watching our beloved Manchester United plan for the new season makes it a little bit exciting at the very least.
The first time we’ll see our new man in action will be during Manchester United’s pre-season tour of the United States of America next month, where I’m sure he’ll get a warm reception from the Reds fans from around the world.
We now have one deal in, and it’s up to Edward Woodward to quickly move on from the euphoria of announcing this one and start working on others. Hopefully, Alvaro Morata will be next, and a deal certainly looks close…
