Player Ratings: AFC Bournemouth 1-0 Man United (Premier League, 2019)

David de Gea – Was alright. Made a couple of decent stops but couldn’t do anything about the goal. 5/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – His offensive struggles are becoming a worry. 4/10

Victor Lindelof – A nervous wreck. Aerially, he struggled and it’s hard to play alongside that inconsistency. 3/10

Harry Maguire – Again, it’s tough when you’re working alongside Lindelof, but I think we’re within our rights to demand more. 5/10

Ashley Young – You know what, I’ll always back Youngy because he always gives absolutely everything. Not the worst player in United colours on the field today. 5/10

Scott McTominay – Probably his poorest game of the season. His passing was wayward and on the defensive side of the ball, he came somewhat a bystander. 4/10

Fred – Probably United’s best midfielder on the day, but still not anywhere close to being good enough. The potential is there with Fred, but we need to see better. 5/10

Andreas Pereira – Struggled. I’m still not sure what the Brazilian brings to the table. 3/10

Daniel James – Had a good first-half, but didn’t do anywhere near enough to try and drag United back into the game. 5/10

Marcus Rashford – Was ok, but drifted in and out of the game. I’d like to see him try to get on the ball more. 5/10

Anthony Martial – Continues to deceive. The fans became expectant and the Frenchman struggled, despite coming into this one off a midweek rest. 4/10

Jesse Lingard – Didn’t really get into the game.

Mason Greenwood – Hit the post unluckily.

Brandon Williams – Nice to see him out on the field again.
