David de Gea – Made a super save midway through the second-half to preserve a deserved clean-sheet. 6/10

Ashley Young – Solid in Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s absence. Put in a real workload. 6/10

Victor Lindelof – Didn’t put a foot wrong throughout. Looked calm, composed and solid in the air. 8/10

Harry Maguire – Commanded the back four excellently. Won so many headers and positioned himself brilliantly throughout. 8/10

Brandon Williams – So impressive. Was a willing runner forward. Won tackles and showed massive heart. What a player. Man of the Match. 9/10


Nemanja Matic – Protected the back four pretty well but in truth, Burnley bypassed the midfield and went long more often than not. 6/10

Fred – Kept things ticking over nicely. Played some super passes forward and create some nice openings. Improving. 7/10

Andreas Pereira – Was actually pretty good. Kept his team moving in the right direction. 6/10

Daniel James – Got kicked all over the park for 90 minutes but got up and kept fighting. It was his through ball to Rashford that sealed the deal. Quality. 7/10

Marcus Rashford – Tried a few things that didn’t come off, but scored the all-important second in injury time. 7/10

Anthony Martial – Lethal. Had one chance in the first half and finished it with aplomb to send the Reds on their way. 7/10

Jesse Lingard – Did ok.

Luke Shaw – Came on to ensure the three points were safe.
