Player Ratings: Cardiff 2-2 United

David de Gea – The Spaniard couldn’t do anything about either goal, but didn’t have much to do apart from that. 5/10

Chris Smalling – Great defender, but not a right-back. He struggles with the natural width for a right-back and that showed. He did ok when called upon. 5/10

Rio Ferdinand – The ageing Rio Ferdinand seems to be struggling this season, had another average game yesterday. 4/10

Patrice Evra – Literally a game of two halves for Evra. His goal was a bullet header, but he was at fault for the last minute equaliser. 4/10

Marouane Fellaini – Did ok, but let his man walk by him with ease at times. We bought him to stop the midfield runners, but at the moment he isn’t doing that. 5/10

Tom Cleverley – Had an absolute shocker. Struggled to pick his passes, and struggled retaining possession. 3/10

Antonio Valencia – The Ecuadorian had an ineffective game just like many of his teammates. 4/10

Wayne Rooney – Seemed to be the only one trying. Deserved his goal but should’ve scored late on to win it. Lucky to stay on the pitch too. Man of the Match. 6/10

Adnan Januzaj – His quietest game in a United shirt. Didn’t offer an awful lot and struggled going forward. 4/10

Javier Hernandez – Chicharito once again proved he is a super sub. He just isn’t the same player when he starts, and didn’t make an impact. 4/10

Subs:

Danny Welbeck – Did ok, but should’ve scored after Rooney put him through on goal. 5/10

Ryan Giggs – Not enough time to mark.
