Player Ratings: Chelsea FC 1-1 Manchester United

David de Gea – Sublime. Made some outstanding saves to ensure United bring a point home. 8/10

Matteo Darmian – Looked brilliant for the majority. Didn’t give Chelsea a sniff and offered a lot going forward. 7/10

Chris Smalling – On the whole did well against Costa. 7/10

Daley Blind – Played a part in Chelsea’s last minute equaliser. Solid putting that aside. 6/10

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson – Put some outstanding balls into the box, and did well defensively. 7/10

Marouane Fellaini – Battled brilliantly again Matic. Unfortunate to be subbed. 7/10

Michael Carrick – Brought calmness to the middle of the park. Controlled the game. 7/10

Jesse Lingard – Scored a brilliant goal to give United the lead. 7/10

Juan Mata – One of his better performances. Picked the right pass and looked a real threat. 8/10

Anthony Martial – Had a few half-chances, but fairly quiet putting those aside. 6/10

Wayne Rooney – Led the line fairly well. 6/10


Morgan Schneiderlin – Sat back and brought pressure on the back four.

Memphis Depay – Played a careless pass that cost United two points.

Ander Herrera – Not enough time to mark.
