Player Ratings: Everton 4-0 Man United – utter dross from everyone

David de Gea – Awful. Should’ve done better with Everton’s second and the control of his penalty area was non-existent. 3/10

Victor Lindelof – Shifted to right-back, no idea why, but it’s not his natural position and he was exposed. 4/10

Chris Smalling – You expect Smalling to be our leader and baulk orders at others. He was nowhere near good enough. 3/10

Phil Jones – Made a cracking tackle at 2-0 when the momentum looked like shifting. Obviously, he injured himself in the process. 3/10

Diogo Dalot – You can tell he was putting a shift in, but we shouldn’t be looking at squad players like Dalot to carry us forward. 4/10

Nemanja Matic – I don’t get why he was recalled. It’s just so static and slow. Awful. 3/10

Fred – The real Fred is back. Just couldn’t get into the game whatsoever. 3/10

Paul Pogba – This man is supposed to be our leader? Really? 2/10

Anthony Martial – Inconsistent. Quiet, couldn’t get himself going. The story of his United career. 2/10

Marcus Rashford –Made a couple of decent runs but it’s not good enough. 3/10

Romelu Lukaku – Got no service whatsoever but the ball just bounces off him. It’s embarrassing. 3/10

Subs:

Scott McTominay – Worked hard but that’s about it.

Ashley Young – Just as bad as the eleven that started.

Andreas Pereira – Not enough time to mark.
