Player Ratings: Fulham vs. United

United overcame a tough challenge from London side Fulham on Saturday, and the only goal of the match came from a piece of brilliance from the in-form Wayne Rooney, who now has five goals in his last five outings. He has hit form just at the right time, with Van Persie being relatively quiet in recent weeks.

The first half was an open affair with both sides playing some good football, and somehow it ended 0-0. After the break the sides became much tighter and it looked as if it could end up a 0-0 draw until Wayne Rooney popped up.

With Liverpool holding City to a 2-2 draw, we have now established a nine point cushion at the top of the Premier League.
