David de Gea – Made a huge error for Arsenal’s first goal, but did stop a couple of good chances for the visitors. 5/10
Diogo Dalot – A full Premier League debut for the young Portuguese, and all things considered, he did ok. He did look tired late on, but given the lack of game-time, that’s expected. 6/10
Chris Smalling – Passed fit and did alright. He controlled the back line and once again, he looked far more composed in a back three. 6/10
Eric Bailly – Brilliant to see him back involved. He was an absolute warrior from first minute to last. Hopefully, he continues from there and gets himself back in the manager’s plans. 7/10
Marcos Rojo – Could have been sent off, messed up for the Arsenal goal, but you know what? I loved having him back. His energy, passion and tenacity was great to see. 5/10
Matteo Darmian – Defended well, but wasn’t great going forward. He just needs more composure when winning the ball back. 5/10
Nemanja Matic – Went missing at times. He’s just far too slow to play in this modern-day Premier League. 4/10
Ander Herrera – Worked hard on both sides of the ball. Played some decent passes forward, tried to keep United on the front foot. Decent. 6/10
Jesse Lingard – It was nice to see him back amongst the goals. His excellent movement, work-rate and tenacity was great to see. 6/10
Marcus Rashford – Gave absolutely everything from the first minute to last. It was great to see him put such a shift in. He deserved to be on the winning side. 7/10
Anthony Martial – Scored United’s first, but was relatively quiet putting that aside. Went off injured. 6/10
Romelu Lukaku – Was involved in Lingard’s leveller.
Paul Pogba – Didn’t really impact the game.
Marouane Fellaini – Threw his weight around.
