David de Gea – Made a couple of smart saves to deny Spurs. If there’s one criticism, it’s that he needs to distribute the ball quicker. 5/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Made some quality, last-ditch tackles to keep Spurs at bay. Again, it’s his final ball into the box that let’s him down. 6/10

Vicor Lindelof – Pretty solid, for the most part. Looked calm and confident on the ball and got stuck in where needed. 6/10

Harry Maguire – Decent. Sometimes I’d like to see more leadership and better composure from our captain. Could he have done better for the Spurs equaliser? Probably. 6/10

Ashley Young – Like Maguire, I’m not sure where he was positioned for Alli’s goal. That aside, he brought some experience to the table which proved vital in the end. 6/10

Scott McTominay – Wow, this lad can play. He was an absolute warrior in midfield throughout. Kept it simple, won tackles, drove his teammates forward and led by example. Quality throughout. 8/10

Fred – I know many are feeling the Fred love right now, I’m sorry, I don’t see it. He makes too many easy mistakes with the ball at his feet. Yes, he’s improving and he was *ok* today, but still there’s much to work on. 6/10

Jesse Lingard – Split Spurs’ defence from their midfield due to his intelligence when it comes to making runs. Linked up well with Rashford throughout. It’s nice to see him finding his feet once again. 6/10

Daniel James – Worked his socks off for 90 minutes on both sides of the ball. Gave Jan Vertonghen real trouble and whipped in some delicious balls into the box. Threatening. 7/10

Marcus Rashford – What a player. This could possibly have been his best game in a United shirt. Two goals, effort on both ends, intelligent run-making and decision-making, super tricks and flicks to boot. Simply outstanding. 9/10 Man of the Match.

Mason Greenwood – You feel there’s a quality player in there waiting to be unleashed. He was ok. Didn’t really get into any goal-scoring positions but linked up the play pretty well. He will get better. 5/10

Andreas Pereira – Didn’t get into the game.

Luke Shaw – Not enough time to mark.
