Player Ratings: Spurs 0-1 Man United – Pogba bosses it

David de Gea –  Wonderful, just wonderful. Made some outrageous saves with his legs to preserve his clean sheet. The best in the world. 9/10

Ashley Young – Did very well once again. As a squad player, he has been marvellous this season. 6/10

Victor Lindelof – A sublime individual outing. Marshalled Harry Kane well, was calm passing out from the back. Turning into a real player. 7/10

Phil Jones – Another brilliant performance from Jones. Hopefully, this is the start of the making of him. 7/10

Luke Shaw – Positionally excellent. Defeded well despite the mounting pressure. 6/10

Nemanja Matic – Probably his best outing of the season. Protected the defenders excellently. 7/10

Ander Herrera – Made some crucial tackles and interceptions. Was busy and never stopped working. Excellent. 7/10

Paul Pogba – His pass into Rashford for the goal was just world class. He played smart, dictated proceedings and controlled the game. 7/10

Jesse Lingard – Ran himself into the ground for the cause. Made some super intelligent runs forward, too. 6/10

Anthony Martial – Did ok. Looked threatening at times but couldn’t come up with the final shot or pass. 5/10

Marcus Rashford – Scored a corker to get United on their way. He was outstanding throughout. 8/10

Subs:

Romelu Lukaku – Slowed things down a bit, but held it up well.

Diogo Dalot –  Made a couple of good tackles and blocks.

Scott McTominay – Brought on to kill the clock.
