Player Ratings: Swansea City 2-1 Manchester United

Sergio Romero – Probably the keepers worst game in a United jersey. Could’ve done better for both goals – particularly the second. 4/10

Matteo Darmian – Once again solid in defence. Didn’t get forward much though. 6/10

Chris Smalling – Looked superb in the first half. Wasn’t really at fault for the goals. 6/10

Daley Blind – Slacked off in the second half. Couldn’t deal with Gomis’ strength. 5/10

Luke Shaw – Bombed forward as per usual and played in a super cross for Juan Mata’s opener. 7/10

Morgan Schneiderlin – Solid. Although you expect more from him going forward. 6/10

Bastian Schweinsteiger – Played well in the first half but was unable to stop the Swansea attack in the second half. 6/10

Juan Mata – Took his goal well. Was quiet putting that aside. 5/10

Ander Herrera – Anonymous for the most part. Will give him the benefit of the doubt as he hasn’t played much. 5/10

Memphis Depay – Probably his worst game in a United shirt. just couldn’t get into the game. 4/10

Wayne Rooney – Dreadful. Could not affect the game in an offensive way whatsoever. Needs help. 4/10

Subs:

Michael Carrick – Controlled the middle of the park.

Ashley Young – Put some decent crosses in, but not much else.

Marouane Fellaini – Won a few headers and threw his weight around.
