Player Ratings: United 0-3 City

David de Gea – Had no chance with any of the goals. Made a smart save to deny Dzeko his hat-trick. Distribution was unusually poor. 5/10

Rafael – Kept bombing forward despite the lack of any real width in front of him. Final ball let him down. 5/10

Phil Jones – Was partially at fault for the opener. Didn’t win many headers against Dzeko and his passing let him down. 3/10

Rio Ferdinand – Best days are certainly behind him. Didn’t get physical enough, and didn’t get tight enough. 4/10

Patrice Evra – Had a shocker. Out of position for the majority of the game. Lacked pace, and didn’t track back. 2/10

Marouane Fellaini – Poor on the ball. Couldn’t pick a pass. Didn’t track back. Lucky to avoid a red card. Absolute nightmare. 2/10

Tom Cleverley – Not really sure where Moyes told him to play. He was often on the right hand wing which was a bit bizarre. Didn’t do an awful lot. 3/10

Michael Carrick – Poor like he has been for most of the season. Couldn’t pick a pass and couldn’t stop Yaya Toure. 4/10

Juan Mata – Probably his worst game in a United shirt. His passes were often wayward. 4/10

Danny Welbeck – Worked hard off the ball, but lacked any real quality on it. 4/10

Wayne Rooney – Once again our best player by a country mile. He was everywhere but his teammates let him down. 5/10

Subs:

Shinji Kagawa – Quiet yet again. 4/10

Antonio Valencia – Played in a couple of nice crosses, but thats about it. 4/10

Javier Hernandez – Not enough time to mark.
