David de Gea – Quiet afternoon for our Spaniard. Dealt with a few crosses well. Couldn’t do nothing about the goal. 6/10

Rafael – Gaining confidence as he returns to full fitness. Linked up with Valencia excellently. 7/10

Chris Smalling – Continued to impress. He dealt with everything thrown at him aerially and on the ground. 7/10

Jonny Evans – A typical warrior-like Evans performance. Kept on battling. 6/10

Patrice Evra – Did ok. Linked up well with Januzaj. 6/10

Antonio Valencia – Looked dangerous, wasn’t scared to run at his man either. His delivery could’ve been better though. 6/10

Tom Cleverley – Another super game from Tom. Kept the ball moving and kept United moving forward. 7/10

Phil Jones – Battled hard in midfield and gives United that much-needed drive. Top performance. 7/10

Adnan Januzaj – Great individual goal and he continues to impress. He needs to cut the diving out though. 7/10

Danny Welbeck – Great finish by Danny, an superb link-up play with Rooney. Shame he got injured. 7/10

Wayne Rooney – Two excellent assists. He bossed the game for United once again. Man of the Match. 8/10

Javier Hernandez – Looked lively. Had the ball in the net but ruled out for offside. 6/10

Ashley Young – Super goal, makes it 2 in 2. 7/10

Alex Buttner – At fault for their goal due to a lapse in concentration. 5/10
