Players who would miss out on PL medal

I was recently flicking through our team and it got me thinking, If we were to lift the Premier League trophy this year, which players would miss out on a medal. To be eligible for a medal you need to make ten appearances throughout the league season.

I compiled a list of the players who would currently miss out. Due to Fergies rotation policy not many notable names would
indeed miss out. The most high profile ones would be Nemanja Vidic, Tom Cleverley and Darren Fletcher, who would of definitely got given a medal if they hadn’t had seasons hit by injury.

Tom Cleverley: 9
Anders Lindegaard: 8
Darren Fletcher: 8
Nemanja Vidic: 6
Fabio: 5
Paul Pogba: 3
Ezekiel Fryers: 2
Ben Amos: 1
Micahel Owen: 1
Will Keane: 1

The list is full of names you’d expect. However Tom Cleverley needs just one more league appearance, so i fully expect him to get a winners medal. The same goes for Lindegaard, the backup keeper usually gets a winners medal if he plays any number of games. However i expect the rest of the list to miss out. I can’t see Fletcher making an appearance again this season, and the same goes for Vidic. From Fabio downwards, they have already ran out of games to earn one. The brazilian is the interesting one for me though, he would usually play at least 10 games for us, but this season injury has ruined any chance he had, and just this week he has been linked with a loan move away from the club.
