19 Year old Paul Pogba has tonight agreed to join Italian Giants Juventus on a reported 4-year contract. Pogba was widely tipped to make it big at United after winning the FA Youth Cup back in 2011, but now has decided to follow Ravel Morrison out of the club.
The club claim that we offered the French U19 international a contract but that was rejected in favour of more money being on offer in Italy. It isn’t the first time that he has been involved in controversial circumstances regarding a transfer, as when he moved to Manchester United from Le Havre back in 2009 the French side claimed that we “stole” him.
It’s hard to tell whether Pogba will make it as a professional, as he only got a mere 20 minutes of top flight action for our club. However as soon as you know that a player is stalling about signing a contract for United, then they don’t deserve to wear our red shirt. There is no question that the boy has talent, good luck to him though, wherever he ends up.
