Pogba looks certain to miss Liverpool game with injury, could be out until end of October: report

On many fronts, Manchester United just cannot catch a break right now. The Red Devils are struggling on the field for a number of reasons, though you have to feel that poor results are directly correlated to injuries decimating the squad.

I personally felt like the international break came at a good time as it gave United two weeks to get players back fit for the all-important clash against Liverpool. However, it seems as though the Old Trafford club are still set to be without Paul Pogba for that one…

According to the Daily Mail, the United star ‘looks certain’ to miss the visit of Jurgen Klopp’s men with injury. Furthermore, the 26-year-old could be sidelined until at least the end of October…

Apparently, Pogba is currently in Dubai at a state-of-the-art Transform Altitude Performance Centre in the hope of returning early. However, the Frenchman is ‘almost sure’ of missing the Liverpool game – which could have ‘significant bearing’ on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s future in the United dugout.

Pogba’s foot remains in a protective cast despite the fact he’s working hard in Dubai, and he’ll be assessed upon his return to Carrington at some point this week. Though with just eight days until the Liverpool game, things aren’t looking good.

If he’s out until the month’s end, I fear things are going to get worse before they get better – particularly with the Baby Faced Assassin relying on Andreas Pereira and Fred to pull something out of the bag…

It could be a long month, eh Reds…
