Manchester United have completed a deal for Paul Pogba, with the Frenchman set to become the most expensive footballer on the planet. That’s according to the Manchester Evening News, who say everything has been agreed and we’re now just waiting for an official announcement.
They say United completed a deal whilst Pogba was off holidaying in the United States of America, and it was two weeks ago that the former red decided that a move back to Old Trafford was the best move for his career.
Jose Mourinho’s intentions for this club are clear, and our manager has always stood by the fact that he wants to bring four new players to the club during this window.
Signing Pogba would be a massive signal to the rest of the Premier League, and it’s brilliant to see United investing heavily in an area that has needed improving for the last few years. Alongside Morgan Schneiderlin, it could well be a real commanding midfield for the next few years.
