Manchester United Football Club has won three from three over the last week or so – looking pretty good in the process.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer deserves praise for his work, though he’ll be looking to carry that momentum forward through the hectic winter schedule. This weekend, Everton visit Old Trafford, buoyed by club icon Duncan Ferguson.
Ahead of the game, we’ve decided to try and work our the starting XI that the Baby Faced Assassin is going to opt for. Check out our predicted team below:
As you’d expect, it’s certainly a more recognisable team than the one that crushed AZ Alkmaar in midweek – starting with David de Gea’s return in between the sticks.
Luke Shaw does come back into the team in place of Brandon Williams, who was absolutely superb in midweek. Aaron Wan-Bissaka starts at right-back, with the now customary back two of Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof being reunited.
Scott McTominay has been playing like a man possessed since making his return from injury, we’ll need another mammoth effort from the young man here. Fred starts, with Jesse Lingard overcoming injury to play.
Anthony Martial will continue to lead the line, with both Marcus Rashford and Daniel James coming back into the team. Both will be feeling fresh after some well-earned midweek rest.
