Predicted Starting XI: Manchester United vs Cambridge

Manchester United were famously held to one of the greatest cup results in recent history a fortnight ago, as the lowest ranked side left in the draw in the form of Cambridge City managed to scrape a spirited 0-0 draw and earn themselves a dream replay at Old Trafford.

Louis van Gaal will be looking to right a few wrongs in this one, whilst picking a blend of youth and experience meaning he’ll be able to rest at least a few key players ahead of another important Premier League game this weekend.

Victor Valdes could be in line for his professional debut, and he’ll have to marshall an extremely young back line in front of him, with the likes of Tyler Blackett and Paddy McNair set for recalls.

James Wilson, Marouane Fellaini, Ander Herrera and Juan Mata all look likely to return to the starting line-up too, as United look to earn a place in the fifth round of the cup with a trip to Preston or Sheffield United awaiting if they can get a result.

Starting XI

Valdes; Valencia, McNair, Blackett, Shaw; Fellaini, Herrera, Mata; Januzaj, Rooney, Wilson
