The Premier League season is rapidly approaching, with Jose Mourinho the new man at the helm for Manchester United. Ahead of that, though, he has to lead his side in a game against Leicester City – the Premier League champions. The prize; The Community Shield.
The Wembley showpiece is always an excellent way to start the season, and if United can win it, the confidence will be flowing as we go into the start of the season proper next weekend.
We’ve decided to try and decipher the tactical mind of Jose Mourinho and work out just how we’ll line-up for this one. It does look extremely strong.
David de Gea will get the nod in goal, with Eric Bailly and Daley Blind the back two. They’ll have both Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia offering pace galore on the flanks.
Morgan Schneiderlin and Michael Carrick will be deployed in the holding midfielder roles, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial the attacking trio. Zlatan Ibrahimovic will lead the line.
