Prem boss: Jose Mourinho is the best manager in the world

Manchester United Football Club are well on the way to becoming a top class side once again, and that is down to the watchful eye of Jose Mourinho. The self-proclaimed Special One took charge of the club over the summer and he’s been a real breath of fresh air.

It’s fair to say that since Sir Alex Ferguson left it has been tough viewing watching Manchester United at times – particularly under David Moyes back in 2013/14.

When we hired Jose Mourinho, you just felt like it was the big-name managerial signing that us as a club were just so desperate for. He’s a coach who has won trophies absolutely everywhere he has been – and the Portuguese boss has already got a couple of winners medals at Manchester United already.

Now, Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka was asked about Pep Guardiola after his side took on the blues at the weekend. However, he came out and stated that Jose Mourinho, not Pep Guardiola, is the best coach in the world. And we absolutely love him for it.

“Pep is not the best coach in the world.” Aitor Karanka is quoted as saying by the Manchester Evening News.

“The best coach in the world is Jose Mourinho.”

“He has shown it at Porto, at Inter Milan, Chelsea and Real Madrid and Manchester United.”

“He was the best (in Spain) and he still is the best.”

“I’ve never worked with Pep, but Jose started this season with some criticism, but he has already won two trophies for Man United.”

Karanka and Jose worked together at Real Madrid, so you completely understand why he has come out and given his backing to one of his mates. It’s still great to read, though, and anything that upsets City fans is always good fun.

I’m firmly with Karanka as well. I’m so glad we got Jose over Pep. Obviously both are top managers, but Mourinho has the Premier League experience and has won here before. He’ll get it right, I’ve no doubts about that.
