Premier League keeper outlines why David de Gea is so good

Manchester United Football Club managed to keep hold of David de Gea over the summer, largely thanks to the help of a dodgy fax machine. The 26-year old has been in fine form this season, and his fellow Spaniard, and West Ham keeper Adrian has had his say on where De Gea thrives.

“David de Gea is pretty much a complete goalkeeper, but he is especially good with his feet.” Adrian said.

The amount of saves David de Gea makes with his feet is remarkable, and more often than not he keeps the ball out of the net at all costs. He really is an outstanding goalkeeper, and it seems like every week, some of the best footballers in the world come out and praise him.

Hopefully we can keep him here for a while longer yet, despite major interest from Real Madrid over the last couple of transfer windows. The ball is firmly in our court now however, as the Spaniard is now tied down to a new long-term contract.
